Industrial Ceramics
This was a course that hybridized notions of Art, Industrial Design, manufacturing, and social practice by introducing students to the production of ceramic objects in mass. Throughout the course, we dealt with principles of design, research methodologies, ideation, industrial processing (both traditional and experimental), branding, marketing, and community engagement. By the end of the course, I had gained proficiency in analog model and mold making, tool and die making, press molding, and slip casting.
